The Polestar Brid(g)e

What can be more challenging than applying the term "performance" to a static, large piece of infrastructure? Moreover, considering its importance and functionality - how would the Infrastructure of the Future look like?
Bridges have always had a significant and at the same time narrow-minded program - providing connections between two islands. However with the challenges that Future is laying on us - we may need to reinvent its typology.
The distinctive geometry language of Polestar along with groundbreaking energy-producing and water-cleaning technologies were combined into a completely new relation of "bridge-performance" - The Polestar Brid(g)e.

In the new design the basic features of a conventional bridge, such as its location in the water, and its purpose to be a transportation node light a spark for a new redesign:   -  the location on the water surface is perfect for capturing floating plastics.   - concentrated movements are an abundant source of mechanical energy (steps), which can be converted with  Piezocomponents into electricity.
